This is another of the performing arts sections and one of the musical sections. Entrants can perform as a soloist or as part of a group and receive professional adjudication of their performance. Classes for the woodwind, strings and brass section take place during Friday and Saturday of the second week of May. We encourage as many musicians as possible to take part, and would particularly like to receive more entries from local schools and organisations, as many of our current entrants live outside Warwickshire. At the moment the bulk of our entries are made up of Recorder players and we hope this will continue to grow, but also we would like to see more players of other instruments (basically anything that isn’t a piano).
